More than 20 Pathfinders and 60 Ambassadors, along with staff and students from Sonoma Adventist College, (Kokopo, Papua New Guinea) attended an Ellen White exhibition organised by Sonoma’s third year ministerial class as part of their major class assessment.

The exhibition, held in Sonoma’s multi-purpose hall, was held on May 23 and was organised by Minister Barrie Abel (Jr), a senior lecturer in Ellen White studies at Sonoma, Pathfinder director Malinda Philip and Ambassador director Joe Benjamin. It was designed to allow Pathfinders and Ambassadors to learn and draw important lessons from the life and writings of Mrs White.

Minister Abel explained to those who in attendance, “The Lord gave the gift of prophecy to guide His people in the last days through the ministry of Ellen G White.”

Mrs Philip expressed her satisfaction in the exhibition. “The exhibition was well organised, timely and detailed, meeting the Pathfinders’ requirements,” she said.

“The Ambassadors need to know the life of Ellen as part of the church history to be able to teach the Pathfinders,” added Mr Benjamin.

Seven stalls were available for the Pathfinders, Ambassadors, and others students and staff to visit on the day.

Pathfinders learned about the life and writings of Mrs White.
