The annual Community Champions Conference brought together church members involved in mentoring, community dining, outreach and support ministries across New Zealand.
Former directors, church leaders and researchers gathered at Avondale University to celebrate 50 years of the Ellen G White Research Centre and reflect on its role in preserving Adventist history and supporting mission in the South Pacific.
The event brought together almost 200 youth and young adults for an evening of worship, music and fellowship.
The new Living Covenant podcast expands on the articles featured in the book and explores the personal reflections, questions and spiritual lessons behind them.
The program included Bible studies, worship services and presentations aimed at encouraging students in their spiritual lives. Sessions on modesty and courtship were also presented, focusing on Christian relationships and values.
Mr Marape said he chose to attend the gathering as part of his commitment to his faith and to strengthen his role in his own mission field.
Themed “Mission to our Towns and Villages”, the program explored practical approaches to mission, with a particular emphasis on preparation for the upcoming Trans Pacific for Christ initiative.
Participants described the ride as “a great way to help those who are in need”.
