“I want to say thank you very much for inviting us to be part of 62nd General Conference Session,” he said. “[The PNG 4 Christ program] was a success as far as conversion was concerned—[the] work of nurture is still going on.”
Participants were encouraged to take what they had learned and apply it to their ministry.
“Many full-time employees, including me, took time off work for a week so that we could be with our church members and support them in their training and learning experience,” said John Olo, a 47-year-old IT expert and senior elder from the 8 Mile Seventh-day Adventist Church.
Writing workshops are part of Adventist Record’s mission to empower church members across the South Pacific Division to share stories.
The church saw increasing engagement and commitment from local families through small group Bible studies, house meetings and community outreach.
The partnership will allow students to observe and participate in patient care in a range of departments.
More than 400 church members have freely donated more than K1 million worth of materials, labour and resources to build infrastructure in preparation for the upcoming New Britain New Ireland Mission business session.
