More than 100 Adventist students from seven schools across Port Moresby took time away from their academic commitments to attend a weekend camp organised by the Port Moresby Central Adventist Students Association (Pom CASA) in Central Province from April 17 to 19.

Pom CASA, representing the Moresby South and East zones, organised the camp at Seme Seventh-day Adventist Church, themed “God’s Final Knock”.

The program included Bible studies, worship services and presentations aimed at encouraging students in their spiritual lives. Sessions on modesty and courtship were also presented, focusing on Christian relationships and values.

A total of 104 students attended the event.

Minister Harry Nasi delivered messages throughout the weekend, alongside presentations from the Seme church pastor and district director.

One of the highlights shared during the camp was a recent initiative involving the Mino Adventist Student Association (MASA), which was given the opportunity to conduct an Adventist program and lead worship activities in a Catholic school setting.

Minister Nasi described the opportunity as “a significant step in fostering mutual respect and spiritual outreach among students of different Christian backgrounds”.

Organisers said the camp brought together Adventist students from across the National Capital District, providing opportunities for worship, fellowship and spiritual reflection.

The camp concluded with a fellowship meal provided by members of the Seme Seventh-day Adventist Church.
