Sydney Adventist Hospital staff and volunteers were awarded by the Rotary Club of Wahroonga during a special morning breakfast at the hospital.
The 2018 Bill Leventhal Award was presented to nurse Libby Reid for her outstanding work as a nurse educator for San Education. Ms Reid has been a member of the San team for 18 years.
San volunteers Marelyn Campbell, Sue Caney-Brown and Bruce Robinson received Community Service Awards for their time, initiative and “more care” attitude shown to patients. All three volunteers work at the Poon Day Infusion Centre.
Vocational Excellence Awards were presented to Brian Hudson (Engineering and Maintenance Department), Bronwyn Bangs (Social Work) and Kay Truman (Patient Accounts Team).
The annual breakfast was organised by the San in association with the Rotary Club of Wahroonga to recognise the exemplary work of San staff.
