The energetic host of Gardening Australia chatted with the students and explored the school’s new yarning circle, flourishing gardens and chicken coop.
The first tree was planted this morning in a special ceremony attended by government, San hospital and church leaders, along with students from Wahroonga Adventist School.
Affirming its commitment and celebrating National Tree Day, Wahroonga students spent time outside on July 29 planting trees and shrubs at Coups Creek and the school campus alongside the Wahroonga Waterways Landcare leaders.
Hosted by State Member for Ku-ring-gai Alister Henskens, the event celebrated and acknowledged the role these young leaders play within their school communities.
