Heritage College in Narre Warren South, Victoria, opened its new early learning centre on May 18, with children attending the event as special guests.
State MP for Narre Warren South, Garry Maas, also attended the grand opening and read a story to the children in the new boronia room.
In a short address, Adventist Schools Victoria director of early education, Leanne Munchan, thanked those who had contributed to the project. “Receiving the grant for the project has enabled us to provide this wonderful service to the Casey community,” she said.
Construction on the early learning centre began in April 2020. It features two new classrooms, a reception area, an office, amenities, an outdoor playground area and a landscaped garden.
“Our centres pride themselves on excellence, and the way that this team has worked together to deliver this project is remarkable,” said Ms Munchan.
