Outpost Centers International (OCI) marked a historic milestone with its first event in Australia, held at Cedarvale Health and Lifestyle Retreat in Victoria from April 9–12.
Centred on the theme “On One Accord”, the gathering brought together about 12 ministries from different parts of the nation, each with unique callings yet united by a shared passion to advance God’s work. The weekend served as a platform for inspiration, connection and collaboration, strengthening bonds among ministries committed to serving with greater effectiveness.
Throughout the weekend, participants were not only encouraged to continue faithfully in their respective fields, but were also given opportunities to form partnerships that would enhance the effectiveness and reach of their work. In an increasingly challenging world, the need for ministries to work together in harmony was strongly emphasised, reminding all present that greater impact is achieved when efforts are united and ministries collaborate with one another.
Participants were inspired through messages from Steve Dickman, president of OCI; Johnny Wong of WeExplore Ministry; Pastor Benjamin Ng from Faith FM; and Alain and Irene Bautista, field vice presidents of OCI in the South Pacific Division. Each message called attendees to deeper faithfulness, unity and dedication to the mission. In addition to the messages, the gathering was marked by seasons of prayer.
OCI is a community of lay ministries striving towards the goal of taking the gospel to the world.
