The Seventh-day Adventist Church in Australia has set the month of January as a time to pray for spiritual revival.

“We will be praying for our churches, our members, our schools, our communities, our teachers and pastors, our volunteers,” Australian Union Conference president Pastor Jorge Munoz said.

“We will pray for a closer walk with God and for wisdom and boldness as God continues to open opportunities for us to minister to others and to our communities.”

“10 Days of Prayer” is an annual initiative of the General Conference. This year it will be held from January 6 to 16. The AUC has decided to go a step further by having a full month of prayer.

“We know that we could have done it at a different time of the year but starting off with this emphasis is important,” Pastor Munoz said.

South Pacific Division president Pastor Glenn Townend encouraged Adventists around the South Pacific to join in this special initiative.
