More than 40 ADRA and Church leaders gathered in Fiji to workshop community initiatives through the developing Mission Ready program.
News of our arrival spread across the whole island, and many were excited to see us come to their churches and meeting sites.
It was aimed at addressing growing challenges facing the school, including declining enrolment and the need to strengthen the school's Adventist identity and educational quality.
“Our churches are located in high-risk areas that are vulnerable to natural disasters, so this training is very important for our preparedness,” Pastor Kaipua said.
The Quarters at Wahroonga Estate was officially opened in a ceremony that brought together current and former SPD administrators, ministry leaders, Avondale University executives and staff, and representatives from Sydney Adventist Hospital.
“We know that our prayers will be answered and that many will come to accept Jesus across our land.”
Prior to the service, Dr Chureson visited the children’s Sabbath school classes and was impressed to see the new "Alive in Jesus" curriculum being implemented.
Representing all 13 world divisions and the General Conference's attached mission fields, participants collaborated, shared ideas and explored new ways to reach people for Christ through today's digital platforms.
