TPUM appoints Pastor Fifita Vatulesi as new interim secretary

Trans Pacific Union Mission (TPUM) officers recently appointed a new interim secretary for the Seventh-day Adventist Church in Fiji, voting for Pastor Fifita Vatulesi to fill the role.

Pastor Vatulesi replaces outgoing mission secretary Pastor Josateki Talemaitoga.

The interim appointment will be filled by Pastor Fifita until November 18-21, when the full TPUM Session will be held and leadership positions elected.

The official announcement and handover occurred during staff worship at the Fiji Mission on Thursday June 25.

“I am encouraging us all to uphold Pastor Fifita in our prayers,” said Pastor Luke Narabe, Fiji Mission president. “Please talk to him and give him words of encouragement and affirmation as he take on this enormous responsibility. Brothers and sisters, let us continue to encourage one another and pray for one another, especially during this difficult time.”
