Betikama Adventist College (Solomon Islands) concluded its Family Week of Prayer with a Sabbath baptism program on September 14.
Fifty-six students took their stand for Jesus, making it 75 baptisms so far this year for the college. Seven pastors baptised the students. It follows the baptism of 19 students earlier this year at the close of the college’s Youth Week of Prayer.
“This is a fulfilment of Betikama’s mission in preparing young people not only to become good citizens for this world but also for the world to come,” Trans Pacific Union Mission associate education director Mele Vaihola said.
