The baptisms were a direct result of a series of dedicated Bible study sessions, requested by the young baptism candidates after attending the Pathfinder Camporee in January 2023.

The group, including Adventurers, Pathfinders, youth and community members, were accompanied by a police escort to the Kokopo Town Market.
