More than 700 attendees celebrated family and community at the Sydney Adventist Hospital Teddy Bears Picnic, reconnecting with maternity staff and engaging in fun-filled activities for both children and parents.
After giving birth to her first child during COVID-19 lockdowns, Breane felt inspired to help other women facing the challenges of motherhood in isolation. With the support of Mums At The Table, she's been running a ministry dedicated to mums in the community and providing a safe place for them.
"As Christians, it's our duty to respond to cries for help and, with these mums, it's in the simplest way possible: Being a friend," says Melody Tan, project manager of Mums At The Table.
Adventist Record won silver for best theological article, Signs of the Times won silver for best design, and Mums At The Table won bronze for best design.
