Members of the 15 Mile Seventh-day Adventist Church in Port Moresby, Papua New Guinea, celebrated their first anniversary in February 2026, reflecting on a year of spiritual growth, youth development and progress toward a permanent place of worship.

A total of 61 Adventurers and 59 Pathfinders were invested—an inspiring testament to the dedication of parents, leaders and the young people themselves. The atmosphere was filled with gratitude and joy as families witnessed the achievements of their children.
The Fifteen Mile Seventh-day Adventist Church (Papua New Guinea), newly established this year, celebrated a milestone on Sabbath (November 29) with the investiture of 43 Pathfinders and 36 Adventurers in its first official youth ceremony.
Adventurers, Pathfinders and Ambassadors were invested and received their own copies of the World Changers Bible.
In addition to the baptisms, 36 individuals responded to an appeal.
"This beautiful moment was made possible with the support of the local pastor, church elders, district directors, and the conference," said Dejan Stojkovic.
Held on the last weekend of school holidays, the event encouraged the Adventurers to choose Jesus.
More than 600 Adventurers from all over Sydney gathered for A Wonderful Journey Camporee.
