The event, themed “Refocus and Make Change in My Community”, marked the official launch of AYM activities for 2025.
The baptisms were performed publicly in the local river and witnessed by community members. The officiating pastors were Pastor Nick Minga and Pastor Bill Kaulus.
Spanning seven days and covering approximately 300 kilometres, the ride took 60 cyclists and their supporters through some of New Zealand’s most breathtaking landscapes, from the towering Southern Alps to the stunning coastal scenery of Oamaru.
Both summits were themed “Living, Connecting, Serving in our Times!”
"This beautiful moment was made possible with the support of the local pastor, church elders, district directors, and the conference," said Dejan Stojkovic.
"When school, home and church come together in unity, we believe God can do something truly extraordinary.”
The partnership will support a pilot study focused on the treatment and prevention of diabetes.
