As Christians we often look towards the ultimate restoration, the eternal peace we will receive when the world is renewed. But that is not good enough in a world torn apart.
God knows every one of the 8 billion people on this planet. He is the only one who knows the exact number of people at any given time and He loves and cares for all of them.
Are you intentionally showing Jesus to anyone or telling them about what God has done in your life?
If my force slights or hurts another, they carry that hurt with them—to retaliate or they pass it on to others—and so the cycle of violence and brokenness continues.
We can base who we are on so many things that aren’t permanent like career, job title, physical appearance, wealth, status or achieving success at something.
And it is often only then, that we turn to prayer. As a last-ditch effort. As a desperate cry. A call for help and strength. A solution to our problems.
