Energy and excitement filled the grounds of Inonda Adventist Primary School grounds on Sunday, October 11, as children, parents and church leaders gathered for the Popondetta District’s first Adventurer Fun Day.
Led by District Adventurer coordinator Moe Martin, the special event brought together five of the district’s 10 Adventurer clubs: Inonda, Igora, Saiho, Bangoho and Unity.
Northern and Milne Bay Mission Adventist Youth Ministries director Pastor Jacob Nennek officially opened the program. He commended the coordinators for their dedication and thanked Inonda school for hosting the event.
Pastor Nennek highlighted how the program brought joy to the young Adventurers and their parents, who actively participated in the day’s activities.
Families enjoyed ball games, obstacle races, relays, 50-metre sprints and tug-of-war, followed by a shared meal. The activities encouraged teamwork and strengthened connections between children, parents and church leaders.
