Twenty-nine young people from Kerenda Seventh-day Adventist Church in Southern Highlands, Papua New Guinea brought messages of hope and support to patients and staff of Ialibu Hospital on March 22.

The visit concluded the global Youth Week of Prayer, which began on Global Youth Day with a road clearance and drain cleaning project along the Highlands Highway. Both initiatives were part of a week of community engagement under the theme “A Community Transformed.

Led by Minister Joe Aki and Minister Harry Nasi, the group distributed fruit lunch packs and handwritten notes with Bible verses and words of encouragement. They also took time to talk with patients, pray with them and offer spiritual support.

“Our goal was to bring a bit of comfort and show God’s love through small acts of kindness,” said Minister Nasi. “The visit also reminded our youth that even simple gestures can make a difference.”
