More than 100 young people united at Mountain View Adventist College (Sydney, NSW) last month for an evening of worship and community.

Greater Sydney Conference (GSC) youth ministries director Pastor Dejan Stojkovic explained the event aimed to build deeper bonds and ignite the West Sydney Youth movement.

“This is a movement we hope and pray will empower our youth and their leaders to serve not only their peers but also their communities,” Pastor Stojkovic said.

The evening featured worship, prayer and a message from Pastor Eden Ashcroft. Following this, the youth engaged in meaningful discussions, seeking to deepen their faith and grow together in their spiritual journeys.

The young people enjoyed worship, group games and a meal.

Pastor Stojkovic said the evening also featured group games, which filled the room with laughter and energy.

The night concluded with a meal prepared by a team of parents and other family members from the Wetherill Park Spanish Seventh-day Adventist church.

“Please keep our youth in your prayers as they take small yet powerful steps in developing youth ministries through the Greater Sydney Conference and as they build stronger relationships within their communities,” Pastor Stojkovic said.
