Australian National University chancellor Julie Bishop was the keynote speaker at Sydney Adventist Hospital’s annual leadership focus day.

“Thrive” was the theme of the day, which also featured a presentation by Pastor Alina van Rensburg, young adult ministry coordinator for the South Queensland Conference.

“As well as hearing from these inspirational speakers, we clearly articulated our strategy, ensuring the right teams are in place in pursuit of our vision,” Adventist HealthCare CEO Brett Goods said. “I am excited to see how we will continue to thrive as individuals and together as a team.”

Mr Goods said the focus day was an annual opportunity for the San leadership team to examine the hospital’s mission, recognise achievements of the previous financial year and look to the strategic objectives for the next financial year.
