Women from the 15 Mile Seventh-day Adventist Church in Central Papua Conference combined worship, community outreach and practical training as part of Women’s Emphasis Day activities held under the theme “Hineni, Here Am I!”.

As part of the program, participants conducted a branch Sabbath school in the local community, sharing Bible messages and fellowship with residents.

The weekend also included an outreach visit to Laloki Secondary School, where women distributed toiletries and other essential items to approximately 500 boarding students. The activity was part of the Ambassador Module practical component and aimed to demonstrate Christ’s love through practical service.

During the Sabbath service, members reflected on Isaiah 6:8 and the biblical call to respond to God with faith and willingness.

Participants also took part in a cooking skills workshop designed to equip women with practical knowledge to support their families and communities.

Women’s ministries leader Dora Bali encouraged women of all ages to get involved in ministry. “Women’s ministries is for every woman, not only mothers, but also young girls, students and professionals,” she said. “God has given each of us gifts to serve Him and others. I invite all women to join us in God’s work.”
