More than 60 people were baptised at the conclusion of an evangelistic campaign held by Veisaru Seventh-day Adventist Church in Fiji from May 4 to 23.
The campaign was led by Pastor Timoci Caginikaibau, who presented messages throughout the three-week program. The final Sabbath included a baptismal service led by Fiji Mission president Pastor Epeli Saukuru.
During the service, Pastor Saukuru encouraged the newly baptised members and church congregation to remain grounded in God’s Word and continue growing in their faith.
The program concluded with the presentation of baptismal certificates and Bible gifts to the newly baptised members as families, church members and visitors gathered for the closing celebration.
Church members expressed gratitude for the outcome of the campaign and the 62 new members who joined the church through baptism.
