Bribie Island Seventh-day Adventist Church in Bongaree (Qld) hosted its annual Christmas program on December 21, bringing together members and guests for an evening of fellowship and reflection on the true meaning of the season.
The program featured a retelling of the Christmas story, narrated directly from the Bible. A cast of more than 20, dressed in traditional biblical costumes, re-enacted scenes with Mary, Joseph, baby Jesus, angels, shepherds and wise men. The story was accompanied by carols, performed by guest musicians, with the congregation joining in the singing.
Organisers noted the positive response from the audience, who appreciated the simplicity of the program and the opportunity to connect through the carols and shared meal.
