Member of Kukum Seventh-day Adventist Church in Honiara (Solomon Islands), Jasmine Waleafea, has made it her mission to bring copies of Adventist Record to the National Parliament Office where she works.

“It is only a small gesture of sowing the Word; but it is the Spirit who will water their hearts,” she says.

Over the past five months, Jasmine noticed that many of her colleagues stopped attending church and she believes that sharing copies of Record will keep them connected to the Adventist family.

With multiple copies of the August 1 edition in hand, Jasmine took the challenge further by seeking permissions from the clerk’s office to distribute some copies of Record to the current 12 Adventist members of parliament, in their pigeon holes.

Jasmine says she always looks forward to collecting her copies of Record, and is pleased that her church is continually kept up to date with the publication despite COVID-19 and border restrictions.
