The initiative was part of a new worldwide emphasis launched by the Seventh-day Adventist Church to engage Ambassador-age youth (typically 16-21) through spiritual connection, leadership and community involvement.
Facilitators adapted the content to the local context and trained participants in strategies for strengthening new members in their faith.
Hundreds of participants travelled from various locations by sea, air and land to attend the training.
