Several years ago, Matthew Butler walked away from his Christian faith. The South New Zealander was done with Jesus and had dusted his hands of the Seventh-day Adventist Church. All that would change, however, on a weekend in November.
“Think you know South America, think again,” says Dr Brad Kemp, president of the New Zealand Pacific Union Conference. Dr Kemp was part of a small delegation from the South Pacific Division who went to Brazil to learn about the church growth there.
Dr Brad Kemp has been named president of the New Zealand Pacific Union Conference (NZPUC). Dr Kemp replaces outgoing president Pastor Jerry Matthews, who announced his plans to retire from the position in early June.
