If my force slights or hurts another, they carry that hurt with them—to retaliate or they pass it on to others—and so the cycle of violence and brokenness continues.
And it is often only then, that we turn to prayer. As a last-ditch effort. As a desperate cry. A call for help and strength. A solution to our problems.
You don’t have to be a biological father to be a father figure in someone’s life.
We need to become masters of language, those who truly proclaim the gospel to every “tongue”.
There is nothing wrong with exploring our response to grace and it is healthy to respond and look for ways to engage and live our faith, faithful to the call of our King.
