Around 250 young people gathered at Gilson College Community Church in Victoria for a night of praise and testimony on September 17.

Hosted by the Australian Union Conference (AUC) youth department’s official publication My Edge magazine, the event was also live-streamed online to make it accessible for those who couldn’t attend in person.

The event featured young adult speakers Pauline Escano and Janelle Bocala, who shared their testimonies, highlighting the ways that God has worked in their lives.

Another highlight of the event was the special items performed by Le Quest and Gilson College Community Church band throughout the night.

For attendee Ellen Holman from Geelong Seventh-day Adventist Church, the highlight of the night was “hearing the touching and inspirational testimonies from Janelle and Pauline”.

“It was a great opportunity to worship with other young adults. I am looking forward to the next Praise and Testimony night,” she added.

Social media coordinator for My Edge magazine Kapungwe Besa said, “It was such a blessing seeing that many youth come out on a Friday night to worship together. The Holy Spirit was definitely present in the room. Many tears were shed, including my own. We are excited to bring the event to Avondale next week.”

My Edge magazine plans to host their next Praise and Testimony night at Avondale University on October 11 at 7pm, in collaboration with Salt.
