Operation Food for Life’s Kivori Learning Centre in Papua New Guinea recently held its annual graduation day for up to 300 students.
The learning centre has made an incredible impact on the lives of the children, who were mostly illiterate and could not speak English when they first enrolled. The students wore graduation gowns, making it a very special day for each one.
Operation Food for Life ministry founder Dennis Perry said the learning centre is more than just a school. “Our curriculum includes teaching all the children how to sew and grow fruit and vegetables in our garden so it provides a life skill they can take forward,” Mr Perry said.
“But above all our mission is to educate the students for eternity. Today they are all prepared for their biggest graduation when through God’s amazing grace they graduate to heaven. The students leave our learning centre with a BA (Born Again)!”
