Hillview Seventh-day Adventist Church (Morisset, NSW) women gathered in September for a high tea hosted by the women’s ministries committee. The event aimed to provide connection, reflection and fellowship for women of all ages.
The church hall was decorated with tables prepared by members and filled with savouries, cakes, fruit and tarts. Juniors and teens from the church (known as JETS) assisted by serving refreshments throughout the afternoon.
The program included a devotional presented by the women’s ministry leader, who shared her personal appreciation for the role of women in her life, followed by a tribute honouring mothers, daughters, grandmothers and sisters as “women of faith who shape our journey.”
Reflecting on the gathering, Hillview church member Mary Fedorow described it as “a celebration of connection, legacy and grace . . . a reminder that women bring a distinct and beautiful perspective to life, faith and fellowship.”
