An evangelism program organised by Busu Adventist Church, Papua New Guinea, has resulted in eight baptisms.

The program, held November 24-30 at the Busu Compound in Poasang Lutheran Elementary school, was led by Papua New Guinea Union Mission stewardship director Pastor Lesley Yamahune.

“The week was filled with powerful messages and spiritual breakthroughs,” Morobe Mission communication leader Doulos Ken said.

“This event is a beautiful reminder of the power of faith and community, and we are so grateful for the dedication of all those involved in this evangelistic effort.”

The baptisms were conducted by Pastor Yamahune who also made an appeal to those witnessing, which resulted in four young men expressing their desire to join the Adventist faith and be baptised in the next ceremony.

Eight people committed their lives to Jesus through baptism.
