Macarthur Adventist College (MAC) students raised more than $A1000 during their Albinism Awareness Day on Wednesday, June 16. With the students dressed in high vis vests and super bright colours, the initiative aimed at creating awareness and promoting social inclusion.

The funds raised were destined for the Albinism Fellowship of Australia, a national non-profit organisation that provides support, education, and fellowship to people with albinism, their families and friends.

The school was also decorated with many colours.

“The feedback we have received has been very positive, and it’s always great to see so many students getting involved in fundraising initiatives and using it as a chance to give back,” said MAC principal Anna Calandra.
