Students making a difference in their community

Students at Tenakonga Adventist Community High School, Solomon Islands, are continuing to make a difference in their community.

The school has been running a Sabbath school program in the nearby village of Susui, using resources such as picture rolls which have been provided by the Solomon Islands Mission education department.

The Susui village chief requested that the school also visit on Friday evenings to present spiritual music videos. On June 19, the first of these programs was held and there was a good turnout of adults and children eager to hear the word of God through music.

On the weekend of June 19-21, about 70 Tenakonga students, staff and parents embarked on an outreach program to Sukiki village in West Guadalcanal. During the trip they stopped by their sister school, Kopiu Adventist Community High School, to visit and encourage the students and staff there.
