Students, teachers and parents gathered at Wahroonga Adventist School (NSW) on Friday, September 13, to witness the opening of the junior school building.

A plaque to commemorate the occasion was unveiled by State Member for Ku-ring-gai Alister Henskens and Greater Sydney Conference president Pastor Terry Johnson.

Pastor Johnson delivered the main address, whilst the junior school prefects and school captains reflected on the impact of the school on students and the community.

The whole school combined for three items, including the Australian national anthem, and worships songs “We Lift Our Voices” and “Shine Jesus Shine”.

School board member Edison Akrawi offered a closing prayer, thanking God for his leading in the school’s history.
