Celebrating Easter and new life, the Sydney Adventist Hospital’s Help Team volunteers have lovingly knitted booties for babies born over the Easter weekend.

New arrivals Nathan Wang, Chloe Jakovljevic, Andre Cannon and Evan Wang “road-tested” the booties last week. More than 40 babies are expected to be delivered at the San over the Easter weekend—the San is the largest private hospital in NSW and delivers close to 2000 babies a year.

The hospital’s Help Team members are former patients inspired to return to help others—delivering flowers, newspapers, helping with meal serving and providing company where needed. The knitted booties have become an annual Easter gift for new San babies.
