Children have been taking to the pulpit during church services in Morobe Mission (MM), highlighting an increased focus on children’s ministry for the Seventh-day Adventist Church in the region.
MM Children’s Ministry director Nancy Enopa said that the “Kids in Discipleship” (KID) global theme is now the main focus of the department and churches everywhere in the mission are actively involved, including the Wankun church, where she attended this past Sabbath as the children led out in the service.
“What really caught my attention is what children from this church have done,” said Minister Enopa. “Some of them went beyond their boundaries and did things no kids of their age can do.”
“When you give the best in the upbringing of a child, the return on investment will be the best,” said Pastor Enosh Enopa, Personal Ministry and Sabbath School director who also attended the program with his wife.
The Children’s Ministry department from Wankun church provided their departmental report to Minister Enopa while she attended.
