Murwillumbah Adventist Church (NSW) recently enjoyed a visit from the Australian conference presidents, with the church service hosted by Tweed Valley Adventist College (TVAC).

Also in attendance were the Australian Union Conference officers and the presidents’ spouses.

Church Pastor Ashley Smith said, “It’s a practice for the presidents of all the conferences to gather together for a spiritual retreat once a year. After their retreat they choose a church in the conference where the retreat was held to attend on the Sabbath.

“We were blessed to have them choose us this year! The day proved to be both inspirational and uplifting. The atmosphere of worship was heightened due to Tweed Valley Adventist College leading out in the main service, through prayer, testimony and song.”

Throughout the Sabbath School and church time-slot the presidents had the opportunity to share testimonies of how God is moving in their various conferences.

“This naturally instilled a sense of unity,” said Pastor Smith. “Showing Murwillumbah church that we are a part of something bigger and that God is doing great things through His people. It was impossible to leave the church that day without being touched by the ‘heavenly’ music, inspirational testimonies, great fellowship or delicious food!”
