The Communication Department of the South Pacific Division (SPD) has released a statement on the use of tithe.
“The South Pacific Division follows GC policy and recognises that this is God’s money to be used only for the purposes outlined in GC policy,” communication director Dr Stephen Currow said in the statement.
He goes on to say that the SPD is aware of reports circulating in social media that tithe money is being used to defend the employment case that Pastor Gary Kent, former speaker/director of It Is Written Oceania, has brought against Adventist Media.
“These reports are inaccurate,” he said.
