This year, 164 graduates marched under the theme “Enlightened to Serve”.
The first cohort of students have graduated from a Fulton theology program.
Attendees came from all TPUM missions, including the Solomon Islands, Fiji, Tonga, Samoa, American Samoa, Kiribati and Vanuatu.
Organised by the TPUM ministerial association and stewardship department, the convention drew people from various regions in the Pacific, including Fiji, Tonga, Samoa, American Samoa, Niue, Nauru, Tuvalu, Kiribati, and Vanuatu, with the biggest delegation of 110 coming from Solomon Islands.
The event was attended by Fiji's Education Minister Aseri Radrodro, who acknowledged the graduates' potential to contribute to national development and stability in their countries.
Seventh-day Adventists teamed up with Fiji government efforts to bring attention to an escalating health issue during the country's National Diabetes Awareness Week.
Officiating the launch, TPUM president Pastor Maveni Kaufononga emphasised the slogan “Television that Changes Lives!”
The TPUM head office and seven church properties of the Fiji Mission have undergone retrofitting to become inclusive and disability-friendly.
Themed “Sailing the Digital Waves with Jesus”, the training emphasised the necessity of leveraging the digital era’s tools while staying anchored in faith.
