Two people were baptised at the conclusion of a week-long revival and reconciliation program held by the Dadul and Wor branch churches in Papua New Guinea.

Held from August 9 to 15 under the theme “Forgiveness: The Way Forward”, the program encouraged members to seek reconciliation and restore relationships affected by past differences and unresolved hurts.

Church pastor Minister Trevor Maino presented the nightly messages, focusing on the biblical principles of forgiveness and reconciliation.

“Revival is not only about preaching and attendance, but also about allowing the gospel to transform hearts, restore relationships and lead people into a deeper relationship with Christ,” said Minister Maino.

Branch church elders welcomed the emphasis on the topic. One elder said, “Forgiveness is one of the most neglected duties of most Christians.”
