Ten Land Management and Conservation students celebrated their graduation in a lively and heartwarming ceremony at the Springwood Life Development Centre on December 19. The event was filled with smiles and applause as family, friends, ADRA Logan staff, the State Government member for Woodridge, and other local government officials gathered to honour the graduates’ achievements.

These dedicated individuals successfully completed their studies in Conservation and Land Management, showcasing their skills at the vibrant Springwood community garden, located at the edge of the church property. The garden, a stunning display of colourful vegetation beds bursting with vibrant flowers and delicious produce, stands as a testament to their hard work and dedication.

Dr Roger Henley, the program’s liaison, shared his heartfelt perspective, saying, “Yes, we grow fruit and vegetables. But most of all, we grow people.” His words perfectly captured the spirit of the program and its impact on both the graduates and the community.
