On January 25, the Dundas Seventh-day Adventist Church officially launched a new Pathfinder Club!
Pastor Chris Campos and his leadership team had extended a warm invitation to Joana, a young teenager from the Hurstville Chinese Church, to help them establish the club. Pathfinder District director, Paulo Laureiro was present to officially invest the entire club, including the directors.
Pastor Dejan Stojkovic, Greater Sydney Conference Youth director, preached on the day and presented the church with a small plaque as a token of remembrance for their meaningful milestone.
“This beautiful moment was made possible with the support of the local pastor, church elders, district directors, and the conference,” said Pastor Stojkovic. “We celebrate this milestone, praying that the Dundas Club will help bring many young people to Jesus.”
Pastor Stojkovic is encouraging other churches to start their own clubs.
“Sometimes, people assume that Pathfinder Clubs are only for children already in the church, but the truth is, they can be a year-round evangelistic tool for the entire community,” said Pastor Stojkovic. “Dundas Seventh-day Adventist church has shown us that it’s never too late to start, and neither is it for your church!”
