Students at the University of Natural Resources and Environment in Rabaul, Papua New Guinea, were grateful for the donation of 100 copies of the book Calvary to Pentecost on August 19 by Dr Peter Roennfeldt.
It is a first for the university to receive such resources. Senior student Mark Kaweda said the story of Calvary to Pentecost will encourage students and staff to witness at the university. He said government institutions find it hard to access materials like this.
Tony Akuri, a spiritual leader to a singing group, said the book will encourage his members to continue to do Discovery Bible Reading as well as singing.
University chaplain Pastor Garry Laukei thanked Dr Roennfeldt for providing the books to assist students and staff in Discovery Bible Reading. He said the books were timely as the university is preparing for the PNG for Christ evangelistic series in 2024.
