Kauma Adventist High School in Kiribati has received 20 laptops and other computer technology from the Communications Commission of Kiribati (CCK).

CCK officials chartered a flight especially for the hand-over ceremony. “We are forever grateful to CCK for this timely project. We certainly praise the Lord for this beyond-our-means blessing,” said acting education director Morimai Tekeinang.

“We are grateful to CCK for the gift,” said students in Form 7. “We can now do our research like those students in the urban schools. We no longer feel disadvantaged in this regard by being on an outer island.”

With an increasing number of students, the school still needs more computers to cater for the demand.
