The pastor of Toronto and Boolaroo Seventh-day Adventist churches, Grego Pillay, has released a new song entitled “We Will Remember Them” to commemorate ANZAC Day.

“I wrote the song in memory and tribute to the great Anzacs who fought for freedom. The legacy of their hard work and sacrifice lives on to this day. I wanted to honour that,” he told the Newcastle Star.

Having become an Australian Citizen in 2014, Pastor Pillay said that he wanted to give back to his country, hence why the song was born.

“Australia is a nation that has embraced me and my family. It’s significant that I can contribute to my country through music, to sing this song as a tribute to the Anzacs.”

Pastor Pilay also released an 11-track album entitled Never Let Me Go in 2017, which is available on Spotify, iTunes and online.
