A new suite of resources created by ELIA Wellness is aimed at helping people better understand COVID-19, boost immunity and keep them safe.

The resources include videos, factsheets and wellness programs produced in conjunction with health professionals.

The video resources feature Dr Andrew Pennington from the Sanctuary Lifestyle Clinic (Sydney), who presents on topics surrounding COVID-19, including its transmission and properties, how to protect yourself and boost immunity, and how to react if you or family members are affected. The first eight videos are now available to watch via the ELIA Wellness Facebook page.

In addition, ELIA Wellness has collaborated with a range of health professionals to develop factsheets and videos, which will be released to the public on an ongoing basis. They are focused on answering the questions that people have been asking during the crisis.

Further, a range of programs like the Live More Project, De-stress and Thrive, and Forgive to Live are available to be run in online groups to help boost people’s health and happiness. ELIA Wellness is waiving the fee until mid-May 2020 to help people during the COVID-19 pandemic. To learn more about these programs, ELIA Wellness will be running regular zoom information sessions, which require expressions of interest via this link.

Importantly, all resources created by ELIA Wellness are accessible through its new “Knowledge Centre”, a centralised location launched within the “MyWellness” app (available on IOS/Android). For more information go to www.eliawellness.com.

“We have developed resources to engage the community to help people cope and improve their emotional wellness during these challenging times created by COVID-19,” said Geraldine Przybylko, South Pacific Division Health Strategy consultant.
