Seven Pathfinders were baptised at the end of a mini-camporee held in Manetai, Central Bougainville, a district of the Autonomous Region of Bougainville (Papua New Guinea), from June 30 to July 7.

Pastor Greson Lenon said a further 200 Pathfinders indicated their interest in baptism. More than 1000 Pathfinders attended the camporee where they were inspired by the biblical messages, and learned about ethics in dressing, behaviour and other aspect of life.

“The Bougainville Mission youth department sees the importance of salvation for young people and the will of God in them in this end-time world,” Pastor Lenon said. “Help pray for the enhancement of the gospel work right across the whole region of Bougainville Island with the mighty power of the Spirit of God.”
