An evangelistic series in Papua New Guinea has been packed to capacity every evening by people eager to hear the Word of God.

“Ancient mysteries reveal the future” is the theme of the three-week series running at Queens Park Oval, Mt Hagen, until July 28. The presenter is international speaker Pastor Gary Webster, who is president of the Tasmanian Conference in Australia.

On Tuesday night (July 16) Pastor Webster make a special appeal and more than 800 people came to the front of the stage to pledge their lives to Jesus through baptism.

“God’s power is moving and people are making decisions for Christ,” said Pastor Leighton Kasimo.

People unable to attend the meetings are able to tune in via the state-owned broadcaster NBC Radio.
