Hills Adventist College (Sydney, NSW) welcomed dignitaries from state and local governments to officiate at the opening of its new middle school building on June 26.

NSW Education Minister Sarah Mitchell, Hills Shire Mayor Dr Michelle Byrne and Castle Hill MP Ray Williams helped to celebrate a very special day at the college.

The new building caters for Years 7 and 8 students, and houses purpose-built science laboratories, new bathroom facilities and change rooms, and four additional general-use classrooms.

Hills Adventist College has undergone a continuous building program to cater for substantial growth since it commenced its additional campus at North Kellyville in 2011.

Principal Dr Malcolm Coulson welcomed the new facilities and expressed pride in the vision of the college: “Hills Adventist College is focused on preparing their students to become caring and responsible global citizens; becoming young adults who are aware of the world around them and their important place in it.”
